Zhang Hongjun, male and born in Zhengzhou, He'nan Province in 1966, graduated with Ph. D in Literature and Art. With great passion for literature, he adopted the pseudonym of Hong Jun, homonym of his real name, which embodies the clear mood and rigorous attitude. At present, he is the professor, doctoral advisor and Dean of School of Culture and Communication. Holding the post of director of Chinese Association of the Sino-Foreign Literary and Arts Theories, Pro. Zhang Hongjun also serves as a director of National Society of Marxist and Leninist Art and Literary Criticism. Besides, he enjoys the other titles such as member of Theoretical Criticism Committee of Shandong Writers' Association and chairman of Weihai Writers' Association.
Pro. Zhang has made great academic achievements. He has independently published 5 academic monographs and over 100 academic papers, and also participated in compiling of teaching materials. As a principal investigator, he has undertaken a number of scientific research projects including projects supported by the National Social Science Fund of China (NSSFC), sub-projects of key research program supported by NSSFC, significant and large-scale projects of the Key Research Base of Humanities and Social Sciences of Chinese Ministry of Education, and Provincial Social Science and Teaching Research projects. In addition, he has won many awards and honors at provincial, municipal and university levels.
